FSB pump use, installation, and precautions

1. The pump and motor should be inspected before installation. All parts should be intact and there should be no debris in the pump.
2. Place the pump in a horizontal position, connect the inlet and outlet pipes, and turn on the power supply. Then turn the coupling by hand. Check whether there is any friction. If the rotation is easy and even, the installation is complete.
3. The steel of plastic alloy pumps is poorer than that of metals, so the weight of the pipeline cannot be directly pressed on the pump body. The inlet and outlet pipelines should be supported by additional brackets. Pumps with high lift should also be equipped with a check valve at the outlet to prevent sudden changes. 4. All joints must be kept sealed to prevent air leakage and liquid from affecting the performance of the pump.

Starting and stopping

Fluoroplastic alloy centrifugal pump product features:

FSB-type fluoroplastic alloy pump consists of a pump body, impeller, cover, seals, bracket, pump shaft, coupling, lifting bolts, nuts, base plate, etc.

1. Pump body: One steel flange ring embedded in the left and right connecting parts is molded into plastic alloy. It has the advantages of compact and reasonable structure, strong corrosion resistance, tight and reliable sealing performance, stable operation, low noise, high mechanical strength, no aging, no toxin decomposition, convenient maintenance, smooth flow path, high efficiency, and energy saving.

3. Impeller: The shaft connection method is adopted. Disassembly and installation of the FSB pump

Pump disassembly

1. The pump and motor are connected with a claw coupling. When disassembling, loosen the four connecting bolts between the bracket and the base to detach the pump from the motor.

2. Loosen the connecting bolts on the back cover of the pump body. Use a wooden handle to tap the pump body to disengage it lightly.

3. Loosen the lifting bolts in the coupling that connect the impeller shaft to the pump shaft through the Morse taper.

4. Loosen the mechanical seal moving! Without fixing the screw, use a wooden hammer to lightly hit the hanging bolt in the center of the coupling. Loosen the Morse taper of the impeller shaft and pump shaft and pull out the impeller, back cover, and seal moving ring. Loosen the back cover. Remove the upper gland screw and break it.

5. Loosen the left and right gland screws of the pump shaft. Take out the pump shaft, and bearings, and clean the bracket oil chamber.
